Abstract

This article aims to understand some aspects
related to the manifestations of ideological
revisionism that occurred in the
school space with teachers who have masters
in History teaching. As a theoretical
contribution, the typology of denialism,
historiographic and ideological revisionism
(NAPOLITANO, JUNQUEIRA, 2019)
and the concept of conservative appropriation
of the past (MENESES, 2019) were
used. Exploratory research was developed
in view of the need to make the problematic
situation generated by the arrival of
ideological revisionism in classrooms more
explicit. Then, the survey was operationalized
as a technical procedure, using the
questionnaire as an instrument for data
collection. These were analyzed using Exploratory
Data Analysis. The results allow
the proposition of some hypotheses to be
investigated in future research.
