Abstract

In this work, I analyze my teaching practice
based on the experience of History
classes in two museums in the city of Florianópolis
in the year 2022, in order to
reflect on access to the past, questioning
how museum work is capable of mobilizing
concepts related to historical temporality.
This study was carried out in a public
school with 6th-grade students, in
face-to-face History classes, with the
guiding question of the research being:
How to relate temporal dimensions with
cultural practices in museums with my
students? The text is organized into three
topics: the first about returning to school:
first classes in the post-pandemic period,
the second about the class and museum
time, and the third about a reflection on
the trajectory: the various meanings of the
museum class.
