
In analyzing the transposition of an undergraduate thesis into a podcast, this article addresses the creation of digital historical products and their potential uses in Public History, while examining the differences and similarities between the historian’s work in producing an academic text and a product aimed at the general public. It also provides a description of the production process of the podcast Quando Borges de Medeiros mudou de opinião (When Borges de Medeiros Changed His Opinion), thus contributing to the guidance of future productions. It suggests that adapting an academic text into a podcast requires a careful consideration of the content produced in order to arrive at a new way of narrating the same story.
