Our discussion presents the experience
report on the History teaching and digital
media that took place in the History
PIBID program at the Universidade Estadual
do Mato Grosso do Sul (UEMS),
during the period of Emergency Remote
Teaching. From the production of Indigenous-
themed digital games, the
scholarship holders, who are mostly
from the Kaiowá and Guarani ethnic
groups, combined the technology available
in Google solutions to interact with
elementary education students from the
schools participating in the project.
Through a bibliographic and documental
analysis, our discussion is based on
some data on the inequality of access to
digital media and the internet in Brazil
and, later on, on our experience that
brings to light teacher education and the History teaching in the face of new
challenges, technologies and methodologies.
